Ciociaria is an “historical region” in the heart of Lazio, at the border with Campania, Abruzzo and Molise, halfway between Rome (north) and Naples (south), between the Tyrrhenian Coast (west) and the Apennines of Abruzzo – National Park of Abruzzi, Latium and Molise (east)

The Ciociaria is easily accessible by train: the Roma-Napoli railway line and the Roccasecca-Avezzano junction, for inner areas, and the section Roma-Formia, to reach the Amaseno Valley, run through the whole territory.
